The Glastonbury Unity Candle
In its familiar lantern, our Glastonbury Unity Candle is taken out into the Glastonbury landscape in ceremonies of all kinds. It attends churches, temples and other sacred venues, family celebrations and funerals, talks, workshops, conferences, festivals and concerts. It even stands on the table of the monthly Town Council meetings.
When not out and about, it can be found lit in the Glastonbury Information Centre during their opening hours. Each host lights the Unity Candle in a way that is appropriate to them so they are personally and energetically engaged in the process of igniting not only the flame of the Candle, but their own peaceful inner flame.

"We ask that the Glastonbury Unity Candle be a constant reminder that we are all part of the One. May its light remind us to be accepting, loving and open to all those we meet, regardless of different backgrounds and opinions."
"Let us learn to work together in a creative and non-competitive way to take our world into a brighter and peaceful future, filled with understanding." If you would like your organisation or event to have the Candle in attendance, please feel free to contact us. . . |
