Glaston Centre Ltd is a Not-For-Profit supporting the talented people and organisations of Glastonbury
For me, it's a calming time of reflection and gratitude at the end of the day and it's powerful to know that the group is collectively sending peace and unity to the world..."From small beginnings come great things".
On the 23rd of March 2020, a stay-at-home order was issued to the UK, and all social contact was to cease. On that evening, the Glastonbury Unity Candle was lit in a livestream to hold the Silent Minute of Peace at 9pm. Its purpose was to offer companionship, healing, and connection at a time when it was felt it was needed. To this day, volunteers continue to hold this healing space for people to join and hold peace in their hearts and share their own peaceful messages of support, from all around the world. Find out how to join them...
Since the online Silent Minute was started, it has become such a meaningful part of our lives, and a family of people all over the world was formed to spread peace, love and beautiful energies. Many - perhaps most - of us have never seen each other, but we feel connected, close and loved. Thank you to all the Ambassadors for the dedication and commitment in spreading peace, Unity, love and comfort during all this time, and for giving us the chance to be part of such a marvelous family.

Creating Spiritually Inspired Projects
by Barry Taylor
This book is a great resource for anyone working with a spiritually influenced project and organisation.
Barry draws both on his experience as a director of companies and charities in the City of London and on 30+ years of providing support and advice to charities and small organisations in the Glastonbury area. Starting with an outline of contemporary spirituality and Glastonbury, it looks at the subtle differences to be found in the successful running of spiritually inspired projects and the problems experienced.
‘This is a must-read for anyone working with a spiritually led project which involves a transformation, based on personal experience and psychological growth, and driven by the human psyche and spirit’.
‘Excellent and thought provoking summary on how to develop and successfully complete projects intuited from spirit, not in the style of the usual 'how to' books, it is very simple, to the point, practical, well laid out and easy to understand. Well worth a read.’
The book can be found here.
